Are you looking for an opportunity to learn about regenerative agriculture and permaculture practices? We are looking for individuals inspired to learn and join our farm in 2017.
We are accepting short term stays (minimum of 2 weeks) as well as looking for interns for the growing season (May-Sept.). If interested, please submit application, Sweet-Earth-Farm-Intern-Application, along with resume and three references. We encourage you to read our Sweet-Earth-Farm-Policy for more internship details before applying. We look forward to hearing from you!
For those considering a longer internship, we have been participants in the Washington Small Farms Internship Program. We will be using the Western Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education Farm Internship Curriculum with emphasis on soil science, crop rotations, cover crops, composting, irrigation, and greenhouse basics. Field study modules will include plant propagation, transplanting, harvesting, post-harvest handling, and weed management. Regenerative and permaculture practices will be integrated into this curriculum. Interns will receive a certificate upon completion.
